Count Your Steps
Realizing the health risks caused by childhood obesity, L. Brooks Patterson, Oakland County Executive, decided to do something about it. Mr. Patterson, in collaboration with Oakland County Health Division and community partners, is tackling this epidemic in Oakland County with an exciting program to get Oakland County’s children and families moving and eating right. The purpose of the Count Your Steps program is to increase physical activity in children.
