PROGRAMS OF THE BROOKSIE WAY
The Brooksie Way is one of southeast Michigan’s premier quality-of-life events. In 2008 The Brooksie Way was begun to promote Oakland County and encourage people to become more physically active. In 2017 Road Runners club of America recognized the Brooksie Way Half Marathon to be Michigan’s Championship Half Marathon.

Proceeds from the Brooksie Way are given back to the community in the form of Brooksie Way Minigrants. Non-profit agencies and organizations offering health and fitness-related programs are eligible to apply for an award. Since its inception, the Brooksie Way Minigrant program has provided approximately $275,000 in grants to the community.
